Visit | Gather With Us

We invite you to gather and worship with us this Sunday. We meet at 621 S. White Station Rd. Memphis TN 38117 at 10:30am.

We gather to celebrate the Father's Love through the Son, empowered by the Spirit to worship.

Every Sunday our gatherings are an opportunity to celebrate the gospel together through song, prayer, Scripture reading and preaching. We meditate together on the truths of the gospel: God’s beauty and holiness, our brokenness and need for humility, grace, and healing, and the glory of Christ in uniting us to God and to one another in love.

This is an amazing environment to be the church as we live out our identity as Worshipers (praising Jesus together), Servants (serving one another), Family (sharing life together) and Missionaries (being continually called and equipped to share the good news).

We encourage you to come as you are. Our Sunday gatherings are always a great time to meet new people, worship with the rest of the Missio Dei family, and be challenged to believe the gospel and follow Jesus in the power of the Spirit in everyday life. We hope you will worship with us this Sunday and if you have any questions or needs while you’re with us, just stop by our Welcome Table. We’d love to meet you.

What To Expect On Sunday – Answers To 7 Questions

Q. How Long Is The Service?

Each week Missio Dei gathers for approximately 60-75 minutes.

Q. Is There Anything For My Child?

Your child/children will hear, see, and experience the gospel through creative teaching through the Jesus Story Book in age appropriate communities. We have nursery for the babies and Pre-school aged children and above will learn simple Bible lessons together as they play together.

Q. How Should I Dress?

You won’t find very many suits and ties at Missio Dei – not that there’s anything wrong with that. Simply put, come as you are. For most people at our gatherings, that tends to be something like jeans and a shirt, whether collared or tee.

Q. Will I Be Singled Out?

No. We will not ask visitors to stand and be recognized, to give a testimony, to come to the front, or anything like that.

Q. Will I Be Pressured To Give Money?

Every week during the brief offering time, we say, “If you’re new here, we’re not asking for your money. This time together is our gift to you.” Giving is something for members and regular attendees – for those who have said, “I’ve found out what I need to know about Missio Dei Church, and I’m all in. This is my church family, and Missio Dei’s mission is my mission.”

Q. What Are The Sermons Like?

We preach the Bible, verse-by-verse, book-by-book. We believe that you’ll find, in the pages of the Bible, a more gripping story and a more satisfying explanation and solution to the troubles of life than the false promise of “Seven Ways to Be Happy” styled lectures.

Q. What Is The Music Like?

We seek to creative deep, Christ-exalting, worship through music. Our band attempts to bring in diverse elements of rock, folk, bluegrass, and other styles, while leading the church in songs that cover the full range of emotion from sorrow to joy, and the cover the full truth of Jesus’ gospel from songs, hymns, and spiritual songs that are classic and modern. It is rich and refreshing time that prepares us to hear and worship God through his word.
